According to a report by BNP Paribas Real Estate, in the second semester of 2019 the real estate investments in Spain have amounted 2.78 billion euros, that means 36% more than the same semester of the previous year.
The investments in offices has risen 1.3 billion euros (52% of the total investments in properties in 2019). The accumulated investments in this sector rises 2.5.billion (13% more than the whole investment in offices in the previous year)
The investments in residential sector have totalled 470 million euros in the second quarter of 2019, that means 17% of the whole investment in the sector.
In both, hospitality and retail sectors, the volume of investing have risen 410 million in the second quarter of 2019, that means 12% of the whole investments in each sector.
In the same period, the investments in logistic sector has risen 500 million euros. According to BNP Paribas Real Estate this is the sector which will attract more investors in 2019.
Funds and SOCIMIs gathered 71% of the total investments in the first semester of 2019.
The real estate consultant foresees that, in the second semester of the year, the investments in real estate sector will overcome those in the first and amount in total 12 billion at the end of the year.
